How Much Do You know?

Energy-efficiency: two very simple words that become anything but simple when spoken in a room full of scientists and the arguments begin. The arguments go on–and on–and they really don’t end, do they? The fact is, they will never end. Because it’s a fight to the death: our world economy against the planet. Who will win? Not something you want to think about for too long–

There are two approaches to energy-saving and energy-efficiency: number 1 is the simplified version, i.e. turn your lights off and leave a smaller carbon footprint and you are helping, you don’t need to worry. Number 2 is more complicated and worrying. It’s worrying because it seeks to explain the whole thing, and brings information to light which is not only hard to justify, but half the time doesn’t even make sense–Obviously this is the better of the two, because too much information can never be enough when it comes to such things.

Few companies are willing to explain their opinion on energy-efficiency past a basic “we like it a lot”. Enigin, who can be found at the following link, are the good guys. They want top blow the lid on what they know, in order to make everyone as aware as they are.

I think this is a brave move. Because they didn’t have to release all this information, did they? As any firm knows, the sudden release of lots of complex information usually makes a lot of people want to know more. So they must have had a lot of interesting emails and phone calls which can’t have been so easy to handle while trying to run a company. But this is the way the company approach things: head-on, giving you the straight-up facts so you can decide.
