If you are looking for an enjoyable game full of adventure then Darksiders for Xbox is the ultimate gaming experience you could ever have. A biblical horseman named War, goes back to restore balance to the earth and the universe as a whole. This game has its inspiration from the Bible’s book of Revelations. The story unfolds with life on earth ending as demons decent like meteorites. War discovers the seventh seal is still intact and finds himself in a weak position. Indicted for being responsible the apocalypse starting before time, War finds himself before the mediator between hellish and heavenly forces that keep things in balance, called the Shadow Council. The Council allows war to come back to earth in order to have his name cleared.
War goes back to earth a century after its destruction and find hell and its forces now ruling with the ‘Destroyer’ as their master. All the remains are zombies, which is a crude reminder of lives lost. War has been stripped of any powers he had but he needs to get into the Destroyer’s tower. In the game, Vulgrim is the sales demon that offers healing items and newer abilities. Samael demands control of the demons that guard the Black Tower, which is where the fun begins. War needs to fight against the Destroyer’s soldiers and angels. In order to achieve this, War has a number of weapons, moves, and abilities at his disposal. His main weapon is a massive sword called the Chaos Eater, which is complemented with the fist or a scythe, each having its own prowess. Among the other weapons are a gun, horn, cross blade, and a grappling tool.
War can build up a rage meter during the battle. War can reveal his true nature by bringing out the Chaos form, a flaming giant that cannot be hurt by attacks. He also has the ability to take down many enemies with one slash. To keep War alive you need to use all Wrath skills at strategic points during the game. You can increase War’s wrath bars and health along the way, and be rewarded with pieces of armor. You can change weapons during battles, which adds to the fun.
The general look and feel of the game is eye catching and intriguing, while areas are being portrayed in great detail. You will enjoy getting through all the challenging puzzles. Notably, the game has a thrilling ending.
