Coach Drivers, are they all grumpy?

Where do coach drivers come from, really, might it be the Planet Grumpy or the planet Got Out Of The Wrong Side Of Bed? I recall one particular occasion when a particualrly disturbed driver from a popular coach company—which I wouldn’t be so bold and audacious as to name here but whose first name begins with an N and second name ends in S—challenged me to a fist-fight behind the coach, in front of about seventy waiting people at 3a.m. in the freezing cold morning; all because the company had over-booked and I had vented my rage against this event because nobody else would!

Grr!

After this happened I examined my memory ruthlessly to find if I had ever come across a friendly coach or bus driver: in my entire life I found that, apart from once in 1992 on a trip to Portsmouth, aged fifteen…I had not! Then, one day while watching The Discovery Channel, the answer appeared right there on the screen before me–Evolution, of course! I couldn’t believe this hadn’t crossed my mind before, it all seems so obvious now. Yes, after many hundreds of years of angriness–and going on courses to practice how to achieve the best kind of customer upsetting angriness that is physically achievable while sitting down–these angry and grumpy genes have been passed down from father and son, year upon year; what hope is there left for any good, kind mannered coach or bus drivers to appear? None! It seems we are all doomed to suffer at the hands of grumpy bus and coach drivers for the rest of all eternity!

This considerable inner turmoil led me to a revelation: couldn’t the world use some specialist friendly coach driving service? Ones where the driver actually acknowledges your presence as a human being as you step onto the vehicle?

I don’t know about you but I’m not holding my breath.

And now for an update on work for you all to critique, I have finally finished all the copy for the Smartlipo webpage. I am a little conflicted how I feel about this one, any criticisms are welcome
